Ambition to launch a third auction period in the trading day pushed back to February because of concerns from market participants

LSE delays midday auctions until 2016

The London Stock Exchange Group has delayed the introduction of a new midday auction on its main UK equities market for four months until February 2016 because of concerns from market participants.

The LSE proposed adding a new auction period for all stocks on its UK Sets market in November following a consultation with its member firms last year.
