LSE readies new database and feed

The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has gone into beta testing with a new data warehouse and market data feed and expects to go into production at the end of June.

David Lester, chief information officer at the LSE, said Data-X, the market data feed, enriches and standardises the LSE's data set, adding fields such as opening prices, and volume weighted average prices (VWAPs).
