Bank of America has recruited Jerry Lucas to the newly created role of chief treasury and agency strategist within its interest rate research team in New York.

Lucas joins Banc of America Securities, the US investment banking subsidiary of Bank of America, from Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch, he was head government strategist in New York, providing primary research coverage of the treasury and derivative markets.
