LVMH attacked as still fighting 'the war of the handbags'

The public prosecutor has advised judges in the unprecedented trial initiated in France by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) against Morgan Stanley, to ignore accusations that the US bank had hidden its conflicts of interest.

LVMH, the world's largest luxury goods group, has accused Claire Kent, chief luxury goods analyst at Morgan Stanley, of "systematically denigrating and undermining" it.
