M&G Investment Management, which has £20.4bn under management, has appointed Chase Manhattan Bank and Royal Trust of Canada as its two new custodians.

Both Chase and Royal Trust are beneficiaries of Lloyds TSB Securities Services' decision to pull out of the custody arena last year (see efinancialnews, August 2, 1999).
