M&G chief executive Andrea Rossi last met Financial News for an interview in the middle of a building site.

Eager to show off the iconic 22 Bishopsgate tower, which is home to his previous employer Axa Investment Managers, Rossi had suggested seeing us on one of the only floors that had been completed during the building’s construction five years ago. This time, we avoid the need to don hard hats and hi-vis jackets; Rossi is happy to chat at M&G’s office in Fenchurch Avenue.
