MacIntyre leaves Deutsche for New York City fund

Desmond MacIntyre, head of European pension strategy at Deutsche Asset Management in London, is leaving the company at the end of the month to take up the role as chief investment officer at the $90bn (€85bn) New York City Retirement Systems fund.

MacIntyre joined Deutsche in 2001 and is now returning to the US where he was previously the chief financial officer at General Motors' pension fund.
