Macquarie Capital, part of the Australian financial services group, has hired a new head for its equity capital markets team in Europe from Credit Suisse in the latest of a series of senior investment banking appointments.

Anthony Isaacs joins Macquarie Capital from Credit Suisse, where he was most recently head of UK ECM. He is the brother of Jeremy Isaacs, former chief executive of Lehman Brothers' European business and co-founder of boutique JRJ Ventures.
