Magnum Global Investments, a fund of hedge funds manager, is adding the Schachter Offshore Fund to its roster of hedge funds.

The new Magnum-sponsored hedge fund has been formed to take advantage of growth opportunities in the technology, healthcare and specialty retailing sectors. It will seek to benefit from the huge potential upside of these industries while minimising risk and volatility through options-based hedging strategies.
