Man Group acquires Bardin Hill as US private credit push continues

Purchase of New York-based manager comes two years after Man Group acquired Varagon Capital Partners

Man Group, the UK-listed alternatives manager, has acquired New York-based based private credit manager Bardin Hill as part of its push into the US market.

London-headquartered Man Group, which manages almost $173bn of assets, will use the acquisition to bolster its existing private credit platform which currently oversees almost $40bn across direct lending, credit risk sharing and residential real estate lending strategies.
