Man Group, the $112bn alternatives fund manager, has recruited the investment chief of a small hedge fund to join its European long-short equities team.

Tej Johar arrives from Broad Bridge Capital, an event-driven equity hedge fund where he became chief investment officer in 2016, following a two-year stint at BlueCrest Capital Management, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has previously held roles at Credit Suisse, Marshall Wace and UBS.
