Man Group CEO gets 237% bonus amid gender pay gap concerns

The chief executive of Man Group received a 237% bonus for last year — a figure that stands out against the near 30% gender pay gap revealed by the UK-listed hedge fund giant on Friday.

Luke Ellis' total pay package rose 54% to $6.22m, according to its annual report. This included a salary of $1.1m and bonus of $2.6m. It comes after a milestone year for the acquisitive firm, which saw profits soar and assets under management pass $100bn.
