Man Group, the London-listed hedge fund, has handed the president of its fund of hedge funds business an additional role helping to drive the firm's growth in the Americas.

Michelle McCloskey will take on the newly-created position of president of Man Americas, the firm said in a statement. She will work under Eric Burl, head of Man Americas, to "deepen" the company's relationships with investors in the region.
