London-based hedge fund Man Group has hired Matthew Giordmaina as its head of reconciliations, investment operations.

Giordmaina has joined Man Group from Swiss asset manager Pictet Asset Management where he was serving as reconciliations operations team manager at the firm’s London office. Prior to this stint of almost five years, he was a portfolio reconciliation manager for a year at Jupiter Asset Management.
