Man Group seeds $100m to climate change fund

Man Group, the world's largest hedge fund company, has given more than $100m (€80m) in seed capital to a new fund trading in companies' carbon emission quotas.

RMF, Man Group's Swiss fund of hedge funds subsidiary, said it was providing a substantial amount of finance for a fund run by a subsidiary of London's Climate Change Capital Group, which provides financial services to companies affected by environmental policy.
