Sanctuary Group, the music promotion business flagged by corporate governance agency Manifest over the replacement of its auditors Baker Tilly last month, has removed its chief executive Andy Taylor.

Sanctuary, which handles artists such as Iron Maiden and The Who, said in a statement this morning that its decision was in the context of a review of its 2005 financial statements.
