EJF Capital, a $7 billion hedge fund manager fronted by well-known US financier Emanuel 'Manny' Friedman, is listing a fund in London to raise capital.

EJF Investments has filed for an initial public offering for a £68 million asset-backed and real estate securities fund, and will be seeking to raise additional capital in a 12-month placing programme starting next month, a spokesman confirmed. He did not disclose the equity target.
