The ex-investment chief at Ignis Asset Management, which was taken over by Standard Life Investments in 2014, has followed in the footsteps of a former colleague and joined Canadian insurer Manulife's asset management arm.

Chris Fellingham was chief investment officer at Ignis until the Standard Life acquisition and then spent roughly a year working on the integration of Ignis's flagship Absolute Return Government Bond Fund into Standard Life's stable before leaving in August 2015.
