Marex hires Singapore trio in Asia push

The commodities futures brokerage moves forward with plans to increase headcount and sector coverage in the region

Marex Spectron, the commodities futures brokerage owned by former Lehman Brothers executives Roger Nagioff and Jeremy Isaacs, has made three senior hires to its Singapore office as it pushes ahead with its Asia-Pacific expansion strategy.

The brokerage has hired Roger Quek as executive vice-president on its commodities energy desk, with a focus on developing Marex's commodity broking businesses across Asia and especially in China.
