Veteran emerging markets investor Mark Mobius says China could emerge as a winner from US tariffs, as tension between the world’s two largest economies mounts.

“We expected high numbers, but the comprehensive nature of the programme surprised us,” Mobius told Financial News. “All markets, including Asia will be hit.”
