Emerging markets investor Mark Mobius is preparing an investment trust for launch on the London market — the latest stage in the set-up of his new investment firm.

Mobius Capital Partners is “exploring” an initial public offering for the trust as soon as next month, the firm said in a statement on Monday. It will be known as the Mobius Investment Trust (MMIT).
