Veteran investor Mark Mobius says US markets could go “haywire” if Donald Trump loses his bid for the White House, repeating a warning he issued ahead of the last presidential race.

“Unlike 2020, we are now more in a contentious situation where there have been two assassination attempts on Trump,” Mobius told Financial News. “Therefore it is quite possible that markets could go haywire in the case of a Trump loss, since emotions on both sides are running much higher than ever before.”
