Markit, a dealer-backed data provider and over-the-counter derivatives processing company, has hired a senior member of Deutsche Bank's credit team as part of a plan to boost headcount by more than a third this year.
Markit named Marcus Schüler as a managing director in its sales and marketing team. Schüler, who has run Deutsche Bank's credit marketing operations in Europe for the past four years, will take global responsibility for Markit's relationships with regulators, central banks and trade bodies.
