Martin Currie bags £600m in new wins

Martin Currie, the Edinburgh-based asset management firm, has won £600m (€950m) in new business in the first four months of this year.

One of the largest mandates comes from the Illinois Teachers' pension fund, which awarded the firm a $690m international equity brief. Other wins include Queensland Investment Corporation in Australia, with a further seven institutions handing over mandates to Martin Currie.
