Mats Andersson: will be seeking to raise awareness of the risks facing the environment

The outgoing chief executive of Swedish public pension plan AP4, Mats Andersson, is preparing to become the latest of several scheme officers quitting their jobs to become environmental lobbyists.

Following his departure, Andersson will spend more time at the Global Challenges Foundation think tank, led by veteran investor Laszlo Szombatfalvy. Andersson will also remain active with the Portfolio Decarbonisation Coalition he co-founded, which lobbies asset owners to cut their carbon footprints.
