Matthew Dobbs to retire from Schroders

The fund manager, who has been at the firm for almost 40 years, is handing over portfolio management responsibilities to Richard Sennitt

British asset manager Schroders announced that Matthew Dobbs, a long-serving senior portfolio manager in Asian and small-cap equities, will retire from fund management in 2021.

Dobbs, who had worked at the £525.8bn asset manager for almost 40 years, is handing over portfolio management responsibilities for his Asia funds to Richard Sennitt as manager and Abbas Barkhordar as assistant manager. They will assume responsibility for the portfolio from 31 March 2021.
