Maven Securities UK staff pay falls by 40% as revenue slumps

High-frequency trader cuts wage bill as turnover drops by more than £30m

Staff pay at Maven Securities, a London-based proprietary trading firm, fell by 40% last year after a £33.7m drop in revenue.

The firm’s UK arm paid £50.4m in wages and salaries to its 260 staff in the year to 30 June 2024, according to Companies House filings.
