McDermott Will & Emery is set to bolster its London leveraged finance ranks by hiring Chris Kandel and John Burge from Morrison Foerster, according to people familiar with the matter.
Kandel joined the firm in 2019 after nearly 10 years at Latham & Watkins. He was part of a four-partner team to move to Latham from White & Case in 2010, which also included current Latham finance partners Sam Hamilton and Jayanthi Sadanandan.
