Armed with tens of billions of dollars, a handful of Canadian fund managers play a pivotal role in the world of private equity.

Overseeing a war chest of pension, public and insurance savings, firms including The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CCPIB), Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP) have built up mountains of capital that make them some of the world’s largest private equity investors.
