Ever since the financial crisis, the City has been battered by wave after wave of new regulation. So it’s little surprise that six watchdogs have made FN’s Most Influential in European Finance 2024 list.
They are:

Sheldon Mills, executive director, consumers and competition, Financial Conduct Authority
Richard Moriarty, chief executive officer Financial Reporting Council
Verena Ross, chair, European Securities and Markets Authority
Sam Woods, chief executive officer, Prudential Regulation Authority
