Financial News’ 2016 class of Asset Management Rising Stars must already feel like veterans. Many came into the industry before the financial crash of 2008, have worked through years of central bank-pumped boom and, more recently, have had to navigate the volatility of the past 12 months.
They have had a ringside seat for some challenging and fascinating events in financial markets, from Lehman Brothers to Brexit. The list includes a former Treasury adviser to George Osborne, an ABS fund manager who worked with the New York Fed during the credit crunch, and a renewables specialist who spent two years advising the Tunisian government on building a massive solar plant in the desert.
