Mellon appoints Brisk as new chief operating officer

Mellon Global Investments, the international asset management subsidiary of Mellon Financial, the US financial services provider, has appointed Greg Brisk to replace Malcolm Park as its chief operating officer.

Brisk was formerly head of Mellon Financial's European risk and compliance department, which he joined in 1999. He will be based in London and report to Jon Little, the chief executive of Mellon Global Investments, which was set up in January 2001. He will also become a member of the executive and the board of directors.
