Mellon Financial, the global financial services company, had made the six acquisition to its wealth management group with the purchase Paragon Asset Management, a Las Vegas-based investment management firm.

The Paragon deal, for an undisclosed sum, will add nearly $600m (€480m) in client assets to Mellon. It is Mellon's sixth acquisition to its private wealth management group in four years and the second this year.
