William M Mercer, the UK investment consultant and actuary, has hired Tom Hill as a senior consultant to advise companies on share schemes, long-term incentives and global share plans.

Hill is qualified both as a UK solicitor and a US attorney. He has a decade of experience with UK solicitors, firstly with SJ Berwin until 1999 and then Laytons. At Laytons he was head of share schemes and employee benefits. He will be based in London.
