Mercury Private Equity has appointed two new assistant directors - the first of more to come following the plans to spin off from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Leo Dee joins from Apax Partners as an assistant director and will work within Mercury's information communications & technology (ICT) team. At Apax, Dee was extensively involved in a number of transactions including Eyretel, a provider of customer relationship management solutions for call centres.
