Despite some notable transactions, such as a £24 billion bid for computer chip maker ARM Holdings, UK M&A has slowed in the month following Britain’s vote to leave the European Union.

According to data firm Dealogic, in the four weeks since the referendum result on June 24, there have been about 204 M&A deals announced involving a UK company, against a monthly average of 295 over the first half of 2016.
