George Handjinicolaou is to become global head of emerging market debt at Merrill Lynch following Kevin Krespi's appointment as head of debt in the Pacific Rim region.

Krespi is transferring to Tokyo to replace Richard Huston, who is moving back to London to take on an as yet undecided &quotdebt markets leadership role&quot.
