Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has appointed Andrew Burchill, formerly a consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, to join its global marketing group.

Burchill, who will start in September, will be a welcome and much needed addition as a corporate writer in the global marketing group, said a spokesman at Merrill Lynch.
