David Scott, former chief investment officer at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' global private client team, has joined Singer & Friedlander Investment Management as a director.

Scott will be responsible for private client wealth management. At Merrill Lynch he created the private client team in 1986 and had direct responsibility for the North American equity markets.
