Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has boosted its Middle East team with three hires. Leila Alameddine joins as market manager for Levant from Audi Saradar Private Bank where she was an executive manager covering clients in Europe and the Middle East. Shereen Ghobrial, who most recently worked at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank as the regional head of wealth management for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, joins as regional sales manager based in Dubai. Utku Balik joins as business strategy and initiatives execution manager in Dubai from Emirates NBD Private Banking where he was head of business development. Alameddine and Ghobrial both report to Tamer Rashad, head of the Middle East region at the bank, while Balik reports to Rashad and Michael Tolentino, chief operating officer for the firm's Emea operations.
