Merrill Lynch has extended an agreement with Dow Jones Newswires for six years to provide a range of real-time news and information products.

The principal users of these services will be Merrill Lynch's global private client group, which includes the firm's financial advisers. The agreement also includes the global markets and investment banking and research groups as well as the company's investment managers.
