Merrill Lynch has hired Rohit D'Souza from Morgan Stanley as head of global equity trading as the bank integrates its trading and sales-trading of all equity-related businesses.

The bank's latest reorganisation brings together trading and sales-trading for cash equities, equity-linked products, strategic trading, and all of the bank's global equity financing and services businesses.
