Merrill Lynch Investment Managers picks up £75m win

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) has won a pension client in the UK after a sustained period of heavy fund losses.

Goodrich, the global aerospace supplier, has appointed MLIM to run a £75m (€110.8m) UK equity mandate. The money will be managed by MLIM's specialist team, headed by Steve Thompson, whose team has strong long-term performance. In 2001 the specialist team beat its benchmark by 3.1 percentage points.
