Chris Garman, Merrill Lynch's respected European high yield bond market strategist, has moved back to New York to take on a broader role.

Garman, a US native, has become a popular analyst in the European high yield market in the past two years and investors singled him out for praise in Financial News' recent high yield poll. He and his boss, Marti Fridson, are generally viewed as providing some of the best high yield strategy analysis.
