Metalmark Capital, the private equity firm spun off from Morgan Stanley three years ago, has recruited a veteran healthcare investment banker from its former parent.

Fazle Husain will join the firm as a managing director. He was with Morgan Stanley for 18 years and managed a portfolio that included over 40 healthcare companies.
