The allegations of sexual harassment and rape against film producer Harvey Weinstein were made public one year ago. In the months after, as #MeToo allegations reached a fever pitch, companies and organisations scrambled to distance themselves from those being named and shamed from Hollywood to Westminster.

Yet while powerful men across a range of industries were losing their power and prestige, senior financial figures were notably not among the accused.
