Senia Rapisarda, the former head of principal investments at Nomura, is joining Ariadne Capital, the pan-European venture group, founded by Julie Meyer.
Ariadne Capital, the new economy advisory business launched by Meyer, founder of First Tuesday, the market-place for budding internet entrepreneurs, claims to be "part of a new European model helping manage investor exits, drive consolidation and leverage entrepreneurialism". It lured Rapisarda to lead the creation of a co-investment fund, which will invest alongside financial institutions in European technology, media and telecommunications companies.
