MF Global Holdings, a broker-dealer providing trading hedging solutions, has hired David Simons as global head of operations effective immediately. Simons will oversee the management and strategic development of trade processing and clearing operations around the world, reporting to Bradley Abelow, president and chief operating officer. He joins from Goldman Sachs where he was a managing director in a number of roles across the asset management and fixed income, currency and commodities businesses.
