MFS plans to fill gap in UK market

Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS) is offering a UK equity process to institutional clients, after detecting a lack of good products in the market.

MFS intends to take on up to £2.5bn (€4bn) of business in the area. It has set the limit after calculating the extent to which trades in smaller stock holdings within the 40-65 stock portfolios would be affected by illiquidity as a result of MFS purchases.
