The chief executive of M&G has called for more home-grown investment in UK startups to avoid them leaving London when they come to list.

“We have great intellectual property in the UK, particularly strong universities that launch great businesses. Then suddenly when they go public they go somewhere else,” Andrea Rossi told Financial News.
